Relational Product Database
2Plus2 has developed Otis Spunkmeyer’s product marketing public website, a sophisticated bid management system, an extranet platform for the company’s largest distributors, and an integrated online product information database that is used as the central clearinghouse for detailed product data.
Otis Spunkmeyer has been able to minimize the costs associated with bringing these Internet-based systems online by working closely with 2Plus2 to plan these systems as a series of modules that build upon and add value to each other as development continues. Working from a common database, for example, allows each application system to leverage the work already implemented to create a web-based relation product data repository.
Applications directly focused on lead development, remote customer order entry, and distributor specific product line filtering will be brought online in the next phase of systems development. |
